I HAVE A CREDITOR THAT IS GOING TO SUBPENA MY EMPLOYMENT RECORDS.I WORK PART-TIME ON CALL AND WHEN NEEDED. I RECEIVE WAGES FROM MY EMPLORER AND AM PAID MONTHLY.FROM MONTH TO MONTH I DO NOT KNOW HOW MANY HOURS I WILL WORK.MY LAST TWO PAY CHECKS, ONE FROM JANUARY, MY GROSS WAGES WERE $530.00, AND MY FEBRUARY GROSS WAGES WERE $420.00. I MADE A WHOPPING $5,992.00 IN WAGES FOR 2007.I HAVE BEEN TOLD IF I DON'T MAKE MORE THAN $154.50 OR 75% OF MY NET WAGES (GROSS WAGES AFTER TAXES)A WEEK I AM EXEMPT FROM GARNISHMENT. IS THIS TRUE? DO YOU KNOW HOW FAR BACK IN MY WAGES THEY CAN LOOK AT?CAN YOU ALSO TELL ME WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THEY LOOK AT MY WAGES?I DO RECEIVE A VA PENSION AND ALSO AM DRAWING ON HIS SOC SEC DUE TO HIS DEATH. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THEY ARE BOTH EXEMPT FROM GARNISHMENT.THIS WHOLE ORDEAL HAS CAUSED ME ALOT OF STRESS AS I AM A SENIOR AGE 63.I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY ANSWERS YOU CAN GIVE ME, IT WOULD HELP EASE MY MIND SOME.THANK YOU
