Reporting rent to credit bureaus to build credit...

Postby Todd on August 26th, 2008, 7:03 pm

If my landlord writes a letter of good standing over the last year to the credit agencies, could that potentially help my actual score? Trying to get approved for a home loan and there are a couple of hang ups.
Thank you, Todd Menti

There is a possibility of the bureaus adding the account to your report, but the chances are slim they will actually do it. You can use this letter: http://www.expert-credit-advice.com/Let ... tter19.htm

It is a called "Request for Addition of Supplementary Credit References Letter" and you can use it to request the addition of trad lines that are not being reported to help you build credit.

You can also download the entire free credit repair kit and 20 free pre-typed letter here: http://www.expert-credit-advice.com/fre ... repair.htm
