Hi, i seriously need advice, separated from husband 2 years ago, debt started mounting on mortage and eventually i handed keys back. My parents remortgaged to get me a house and for the past year i have been trying hard to keep things steady. Old house had an offer made before i left, which still would have left a shortfall, but bank refused it and now it has sold for even far more less and the whopping shortfall is now sitting at my credit file and i cant even get a bad debt credit card. To make it worse my ex has decided to go bankrupt, even though he and his partner have a fortune, so he can walk away scot free, and they can still pursue me. I have barely 2 pennies to keep me and the kids going.
What can i do? I am desperate to rebuild my credit and scrub the little debt i still have and keep my head above water. However the house debt is 80000, how, i dont know.
Any advice welcome.
