Financial Situation

Postby worriedin2010 on March 24th, 2010, 6:10 pm

I am looking for advice on my current situation. My wife and myself make about 80k per year and are starting to get further behind each month. We both have recieved pay reductions for the past couple of years and are strugling. First we have an interest only adjustable rate mortgage that is going to reset in one year, we took out equity to invest and are trying to ride out the economy until we recoop our investments. We will be unable to pay a full mortgage payment for the amount of the loan. We also have about 20k in credit card debt and have a $13000 in auto loans. My wife is a school teacher and is being laid off at the end of the school year. We owe 25k in student loans. I for see a severe situation brewing and am looking for advice on what to do and if there are any programs that can help with credit card debt, arm mortgages, student loans, and unemployment.
