Duplicated credit items

My question is that when a company sell or transfer an account should the company that sold or transfered the account be taken off my report? Because if it says on it is considered duplication for one account right?

If it is the original creditor that sells the debt to a collection agency, they do not remove the original item but report that it was old or transferred. If it is a collection agency that’s sells the debt to another collection agency, the item should be deleted. This is very common. I had the same thing happen to me and my wife. Experian, Equifax and TransUnion wont help me get rid of the duplicates
